We had an amazing 3 stay at La Romantica. Our hosts, Thomas and Harry, were really helpful and kind with my two friends and I. The rooms are good, well maintained, and the breakfast is delicious. If Harry is still there when you stay at La Romantica, you need to insist for him to cook you lunch or dinner, you won’t be disappointed. If you need a place to stay on Isla Contadora, don’t look further!
Very nice place. Robert and his wife were excellent hosts. Breakfast was the best we had in Panama. Room nice and clean. 10 minute walk to the closest beach. They recommended restaurant mamachita and believe them also very good. It is at least 20 minute walk, but if you did not rent a golfcart, they will bring you for free if you ask before.
Wonderful place to stay on the island! Carlos was very kind and helpful and speaks perfect English. Laura was extremely kind and very accommodating when we asked for extras (such as more of the delicious sangria she made a we first arrived). The included breakfast was amazing. We actually made sandwiches out of the bread and ham and cheese platter that were provided on top of the full breakfast. The house is in a nice quiet part of the island and we were able to walk everywhere on the island without renting a golf cart. Staying at this hotel and on this island where the highlight of our trip in Panama! Note: there is a 10% discount if you pay in cash.
